Have you ever heard of The Great Pacific Garbage Patch?
It's garbage that has made it's way into the ocean and is now swirling around and hurting marine ecosystems. Some people say it's bigger than the state of Texas!
Glaciers melting doesn't only impact sea levels–it also impacts animals that need ice to survive such as arctic polar bears.
When ice melts these animals are forced to flee to find a place to live which brings them closer to humans which in some instances can be dangerous.
Ask the people who live in the Russian town that just got invaded by polar bears!
Hurricane season usually is from June to November because hurricanes are produced in warm water, but with ocean temperatures rising, hurricane season is going to become longer!
